Trends in Civic Engagement Disaster Safety Education Research: Systematic Literature Review and Keyword Network Analysis

Background: Education plays the most important role in establishing a disaster management system by creating safety culture community and engaging its members. This study explored trends research on education based from perspective of lifelong education. Methods: We undertook systematic literature review keyword network analysis. The main search keywords were “community”, “disaster”, “safety”, “education”. subjects adults, including disaster-vulnerable people, such as elderly disabled people. A total 185 articles papers identified then narrowed down to 56. Results: Research related has developed direction that reflects characteristics disasters occur region. Currently, is being studied various fields, humanities, social sciences, engineering, focusing prevention. methods reviewed qualitative, especially case studies applied narrative, storytelling, risk scenario construction. Conclusion: provides framework for in-depth analysis level communities, lays academic foundation it.
